Feeding the Heroes Fighting for the Boundary Waters

The Boundary Waters means everything to people up here. The lakes, the trees, the wildlife - it's not just scenery, it's home. So when a wildfire starts threatening that, it hits differently.

We had the opportunity to do something small for the people doing something enormous. We bought dinner for the firefighters, command teams, and support crews who have been grinding through long shifts to protect the Boundary Waters, the homes around it, the cabins, and the animals that live in it. It felt like the least we could do.

These crews don't get enough credit. They're out there in the heat, making hard calls, managing dangerous conditions - day after day. A hot meal isn't much in the grand scheme of things, but we wanted them to know that the community sees them and appreciates what they're carrying right now.

We're a business that's rooted in this area. The people fighting this fire are protecting the same land and communities we work in every day. Supporting them just felt right - no second thoughts about it.

To every firefighter, incident commander, and support crew member working this fire: thank you. Genuinely. We're pulling for you out there, and we hope you know this whole community has your back.
