Customer Reviews

“We chose Iron Ridge based upon a recommendation from a friend who had used them before. They recently completed the re-roofing of two lake-access only cabins we purchased -- a project many contractors would probably decline. They'd been neglected and needed far more than just the roofing replaced, and also suffered from some not-so-well designed additions that complicated matters. We also insulated under the new roofing. Their carpenter Jason is fantastic, and had better ideas than I did for the repairs and improvements. Johnny is fantastic with the steel and did an excellent job with our four new stovepipes. Henry, the crew manager, offered great advice and zero nonsense. Neighbors offered us access through their property for hauling materials and debris, and they were both thanked by Iron Ridge with generous gift certificates to a local restaurant -- which was much appreciated. Clean up was great, and they made sure I was happy with the results before wrapping up. I enjoyed working with them and have no problem recommending them!”

“Great experience with Iron Ridge Construction. They were super nice, professional, and really easy to work with throughout the whole process. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for quality work and a company that’s great to deal with!”

“Kenn is a great guy, very easy to work with. I am impressed with the roof and so happy that I will never have to by another for the rest of my life!!!”

“We are very happy with Iron Ridge and our new metal roof. Henry was our supervisor. I met Henry several years ago when he put a metal roof on our neighbors house. I was so impressed with his expertise I had him put a new metal roof on my house. When it came time to replace my cabin roof I was so happy that Henry was available again. He was excellent at communicating and it was obvious he takes pride in a job well done.”

“Iron Ridge Construction recently replaced my cabin's roof with a metal roof. I had originally tried to get the roof completed with a different contracting company, but was unable to make it work. I contacted Kenn to complete the project. He assigned Henry to complete my project. Henry's crew was excellent. The craftsmanship, communication, and reliability were unparalleled. Henry not only understood what I wanted, but was able to make suggestions in order to provide a cohesive look by adding steel siding between the gables. All in all, this was a great experience and I cannot thank Henry enough for all of his hard work and honesty. I would high recommend Iron Ridge for any roofing or siding project.”

“Iron Ridge did a great job on our boathouse roof. Left the site clean. Kenn was kind and upfront in conversations and made sure we were happy with the results. When calling he picked up even on a weekend, which was not expected. We would use Iron Ridge again in the future. Thanks again Iron Ridge!”

“I am a contractor in the Ely area. I was in need of a steel roof on a very remote project. I called Kenn at Iron Ridge Construction. Kenn gave me a price over the phone. His crew completed the project within the week that I had called and stayed on the budget that he quoted me. I would highly recommend using Iron Ridge Construction.”

“Iron Ridge installed EDCO roof shingles, siding and soffits on our garage/greenhouse. Kenn, Brad and the crews worked diligently and it was easy to share feedback with them, brainstorm with them, make sure that we were on the same page and that the project turned out great. It was a pleasure to work with them. They are transparent, good communicators and took a true interest in our project's success. We are very satisfied and look forward to the opportunity to work with them again.”

“Kenn and Henry were great to work with!”

“Iron Ridge Construction did a great job for us. Got the work done in an amazing amount of time. Will definitely use them again.”

“Five Star! We are very happy with the detail and craftsmanship of our new metal roof. I give credit to the crew for their hard work and attention to detail. Henry, the project manager was a joy to work with. He was very knowledgeable and helpful in explaining specific aspects of the job. He was also a problem solver. For example, since the dormers on the front of the cabin were recently re-sided, I was concerned about how the dormer flashing would look. Henry listened to my concerns. He came up with a solution and suggested a different style of flashing. This was on a Friday. By Monday morning we had new flashing. They fit perfectly and looked great! This is a quality company in all respects. I highly recommend Iron Ridge to anyone considering a new roof.”

“I would highly recommend Iron Ridge Construction for your building needs. They worked though subzero weather and cleared 1 to 2 feet of snow and completed our roof in short order. The craftsmanship throughout the project was excellent. Great company to work with. Jim”

“Iron Ridge helped me out of a difficult situation. I prepaid for the construction of a metal building on my property with a different contractor. Four months in, the contractor went out of business leaving my building half completed. I met with Kenn and his team and within two weeks, they had my building completed! I can't say enough good things about Iron Ridge. Henry and his team were prompt, diligent, and really efficient. They all went above and beyond helping with a few problems in my other barn as well. As a retired CEO and business owner, I heartily endorse Iron Ridge. You won't find a more trustworthy, skilled, and economical contractor than Kenn and his team. I'm about to have them put a lifetime metal roof on my rental properties too.”

“Great job completed on our log cabin build, North of Nashwauk, by Henry and his 6 man crew. Would highly recommend Iron Ridge Roofing for your metal roofing needs!! Thank You!!!”

“Iron Ridge completed a project this summer that included new siding, all new window wraps, new soffit and fascia wraps, and covering up old leaking built-in gutters. Brad, my site foreman, was great to work with and the crews did great work. They had to deal with a lot of "old house" issues - figuring out how to make the gutters work, wrapping windows that were all different sizes, and getting up to windows 3-4 stories above the ground with trees in the way. The end result is fantastic and I'm planning on asking them to redo my roof as well in a few years. Thanks Kenn, Brad, and everyone else!”

“We recently hired Iron Ridge to replace our asphalt roof with a standing seam metal roof. They were professional from start to finish, the installation was incredibly efficient. Iron Ridge fabricated the pieces at their metal shop and made the roofing panels onsite at our house. The crew was respectful, cleaned up perfectly, and were clearly experts in their craft. I highly recommend Iron Ridge.”

“Kenn and his team at Iron Ridge Construction did a super job on our roof, soffit and fascia! They sell an excellent product and we love how it turned out. “Metal roofing job- Ken and his crews showed up as scheduled, made full use of the days, did very good work, and cleaned up well when they were done. And Ken clearly explained options on materials and installation and the differences between contractor grade and home store grade products (The roofs look great and you can see the quality). I would hire them again in a heartbeat. And my thanks to Henry and the guys from down south as well.”

“Iron Ridge was a pleasure to work with. The bid for my metal roof was below what I was expecting. They have a wide variety of colors to chose from. Installation took just over two days, which was faster than I expected given the roof has four valleys, gables and bays. Henry, the site supervisor, answered my questions and gave me advice about maintenance and preventing ice dams and said to contact him with any issues or other questions. If you need a new roof contact them, you will be pleased.”

“Great experience from beginning to end. We would highly recommend Iron Ridge to our friends.”
