Getting recognized by your peers in the industry hits different. Our Ely residence project was featured in Metal Roofing Magazine - and honestly, it means a lot to us. Not because of the spotlight, but because it reflects the standard we hold ourselves to on every single job.
The project itself was a modern retreat in Northern Minnesota. The homeowner wanted something that blended clean, contemporary lines with the natural surroundings - tall timber, rugged terrain, the whole picture. We used a standing seam snap lock profile with a deep black matte PVDF coating. It's a finish that holds up hard against UV exposure and harsh Minnesota winters without fading or failing.
What makes a metal roof like this work - really work - is the details that most people never see. The panel geometry, the attachment clips, the underlayment, the sealant. Every layer has a job to do. When all of it comes together correctly, you end up with a roof that performs for decades and still looks sharp doing it.
We work with a lot of homeowners across Northern Minnesota who are done replacing roofing every 15 to 20 years. Metal is a different investment. It's heavier on the front end, but it's the last roof most people ever need to put on. That's the whole idea behind our motto - One Roof, One Lifetime.
Being featured in a national trade publication is a nice reminder that what we're doing here is worth paying attention to. We're grateful to every customer who trusts us with their home. That trust is something we take seriously every time we pull up to a job site.
